Joint Statement for the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime – 9.12.24

Welfare Association has signed this statement marking the anniversary of the adoption of the Genocide Convention in 1948. This statement, endorsed by a broad coalition of humanitarian and human rights organizations, calls on the international community to uphold its legal and moral obligations in preventing and responding to genocide and atrocities, with particular focus on the ongoing situation in Gaza.
