Leave a Legacy

A legacy is a gift left to a charity in your will and is one of the best ways to ensure that the good work we do continues. Leaving a legacy in your will to Welfare Association can make a huge difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable Palestinian families, many of whom live in poverty in very harsh and difficult conditions. It does not take a large sum of money to make a big difference either.

Gifts in wills can help to fund some of our most important projects – from providing access to critical health care services for children with disabilities, to responding quickly and effectively in cases of emergency.

Your Legacy for the Future of the Children of Palestine

Your legacy could help someone like Jamila, in Gaza, to build a better future for herself -  allowing her to fulfil her dream of becoming a journalist. Through the provision of assistive devices, adapting her home to improve her mobility, medication to ease the pain from her wounds and counselling support to rebuild her confidence and self esteem; children like Jamila are able to return to a regular daily routine, go back to school, and create a brighter future for themselves.

Your legacy could help uplift the lives of many Palestinians, now and into the future. We work with children, women, families and communities to ensure your gift benefits them long into the future.

All gifts in wills, no matter how big or small, make a very real difference. Some people find it difficult to make regular donations to charity as their finances often don’t stretch to it. Leaving a legacy to a charity means that you are still able provide for the causes you care about without it affecting your day-to-day finances.

Making a will doesn't have to be costly or complicated. The best way to make a will is through your solicitor or legal adviser. If you are either thinking of putting us in your will or if you already have, please get in touch by completing our legacy form. Download the form here.

Please help us to continue our vital work with some of the most vulnerable families by remembering Welfare Association in your will.
