Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is the obligation for Muslims to give a proportion of their wealth to charity each year.

Welfare Association use Zakat Donations in the following ways:

In the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), Palestinian hospitals urgently need medical supplies, especially in times of crisis. Many medical items are regularly in short supply or are already at zero stock.

Welfare Association provides support by purchasing urgently needed medical items that these hospitals need to save lives. Please help us to save more lives. You can choose to make your donation to Welfare Association a 'Zakat donation' by selecting the tick box in the donation form.

Your Zakat Gift can be increased by adding Gift Aid to your donation.
